Transparency is as important to this business as a freshly cleaned window so allow me to give you a brief insight into who I am and why I started Dalkey Vista.
I’m Robin. I grew up in Dublin. I went to school in Wesley College and later completed a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture at UCD.
After my studies, I lived and worked in Australia for 2 years. I then moved to Spain where I lived for 8 years. I was an English teacher for a few years in Spain before moving to the coast where I set up a fitness/health holiday business. Due to the Covid pandemic, my business came to an end and I moved back to Dublin with (my now wife) Ieva and began a new chapter in life.
During the lockdowns, Ieva and I spent our time creating art and selling it online.
We later found ourselves working in office-based jobs where Ieva is still thriving however, I found that I needed to do something more physically demanding, that gave me more freedom and that I really enjoyed. I started up Dalkey Vista as I’ve always enjoyed cleaning windows, pressure washing and other similar type jobs so why not do something I enjoy as a career? And I can honestly say I have enjoyed every moment of the journey so far.
